Last week, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador held a joint meeting between Customs, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, taxes and migration, reported the Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (Sieca).
The technical meeting was held on Tuesday (19.07.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX) in Tegucigalpa, capital of Honduras, with the aim of carrying out the Review of flows at the Integrated Border Posts between the three countries, in order to establish integrated processes at border posts in The Amatillo and the Poy, located between Honduras and El Salvador.
Likewise, the agreements reached at the high-level meeting held on July 8 in Guatemala were followed up on and the administrative acts were reviewed.
With this combination of political support, careful monitoring of technical processes by political authorities and a methodological decision, the three Central American countries, with the technical support of Sieca, seek to achieve significant progress in the Customs Union process.
