Government officially declared agricultural emergency for flooded provinces

-

The National Government declares a state of emergency and/or disaster for the four provinces in accordance with the recommendation of the National Commission for Agricultural Emergencies and Disasters (CNEyDA) which met this Thursday (24.1.2019) at the agro-industrial headquarters due to the meteorological phenomena of intense rains and excessive water levels that have occurred throughout this month.

This is established by the resolutions 16,17,18 y 19 published in the Official Gazette.

"We are acting as quickly as possible, because we know the efforts that producers must make in the face of these types of weather events to stay in their regions and continue producing. The State is acting as quickly as possible, and in just 24 hours we have already declared an emergency so that they can access the benefits provided for by the Law," said the Secretary.
