The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) established that for the export of works of art by Argentine or foreign artists living or deceased up to 50 years from the date of the author's death, the Export Notice issued by the National Directorate of Cultural Assets and Sites within the scope of the Ministry of Culture must be presented.
The measure was announced in the General resolution 4553/2019 published this Thursday (22.08.2019) in the Official Gazette, where it specified that The Export Notice must be valid, and the person who extracts the merchandise from the country must be the one nominated as the exporter.
The AFIP determined that for the export of works, At the time of the customs declaration, additional documentation will be required the License for Exporting Works of Art issued by the National Directorate of Cultural Assets and Sites.
In this regard, he pointed out that the Export License must be valid at the time of registration of the export destination in which it is affected.
