The Secretariat of Agroindustry distributed the tariff quota called “Hilton Quota” for the commercial cycle between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020.
In total, 29.465 tons of high-quality boneless chilled beef cuts were distributed. According to the information provided, the tonnage to be distributed arises from the requests of the interested parties and the criteria established by the general resolution 308/2019.
The tariff quota granted by the European Union is distributed as follows: 90% for industry and 10% for joint projects (which link producers with processing plants).
Within the distribution of the 2019/20 quota, the establishments of the industry (90%) that managed to obtain the largest quota were the following (in tons):

The Agroindustry reported that all companies awarded high-quality boneless chilled beef cuts for the 2019/2020 period must report, without fail, by February 17, 2020 inclusive, the tonnage they are unable to comply with.
They also pointed out that the applications made by the firms PATAGONIA MEAT SA and OFFAL EXP SA were not taken into account because they arrived after the deadline.
