One of the central themes of the G-20 Summit that begins this Friday under the Argentine presidency is Infrastructure for Development, which plays a key role in the economic growth of nations. However, millions of people around the world still do not have access to the services provided by infrastructure.

The provision of drinking water, electricity, the movement of people and goods, the disposal of wastewater, and the provision of information and communications technology are essential for development, competitiveness and inclusive growth, according to the IDB.

The challenge of sustainability has a comprehensive vision and requires that the project have planning and risk reduction with adequate cost recovery. About the G-20

On Friday, November 30, Buenos Aires, as president of the Group of 20, will receive the world's greatest powers. The G-20 is made up of 19 countries and the European Union, among which are the countries that make up the G-20.

Founded in 1999 to address relevant issues in the global economy, it is a forum for finance ministers and central bank governors from twenty major economies.

The combined population of these countries represents two-thirds of the world's population and 85% of GDP.
