The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) has extended the deadlines for acquiring and using “old technology” fiscal controllers and for mandatory implementation of “new technology” equipment.
The change in the deadline was adopted at the request of users and companies supplying controllers.
The new deadline was extended from March 31, 2019, to the end of August this year, so that supplier companies can market and replace memory for “old technology” equipment. After this new deadline, the controllers' memories can only be changed if they present technical faults during the first year of use after registration.
As regards the possibility of continuing to use “old technology” equipment and the mandatory transition to “new technology”, the originally planned deadline of January 31, 2021 has been extended.
In this regard, a schedule was established consisting of ranges, according to the number of machines enabled by the different users, which will begin on April 1, 2021 with the first group and will end on September 30 of that year with the last group.
In addition, the start of the use of “new technology” equipment in the wholesale food and cleaning sector, with a turnover of more than $50 million in the previous year, was postponed to September 1.
Federal Administrator Leandro Cuccioli announced these changes today in a meeting with Gerardo Díaz Beltrán (CAME), Daniel Calzett (CAC) and Hugo Martty (CAMOCA), among others, who expressed their satisfaction with the postponement.
At the meeting, Cuccioli explained: “We are extending the original deadlines by five months at the request of the companies, although without neglecting the priority objective of updating the technology, for the benefit of the treasury and users.”
Banco Nación offers a loan plan for the purchase of fiscal controllers, aimed at micro-enterprises, with a term of up to 60 fixed installments and an APR of 49%.
In this regard, the president of Banco Nación, Javier González Fraga, stated: “We want to help micro-enterprises meet their obligations with an easy and quick access tool, but fundamentally we want them to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the Nación Emprende Program, with which Banco Nación has already granted more than 30.000 loans throughout the country to finance investments and working capital to promote micro-enterprise and entrepreneurial projects.”
