“In two or three years we will reach a global fiscal balance”: Dujovne

The Minister of Finance and Treasury, Nicolás Dujovne, said this Tuesday (18.9.2018) that “fiscal balance is fundamental”; he highlighted that the 2019 Budget Bill contemplates “primary fiscal balance” and anticipated that “in two or three years” provides for “achieving global fiscal balance".

Importance of T20

Dujovne's statements were made within the framework of the second day of the T20 Summit, which is taking place at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK). In another order, the minister thanked and celebrated the work of the T20, the G20 affinity group that brings together 150 think tanks from 68 countries and what co-presidency CARI and CIPPEC.

“I am happy and proud of what you have achieved,” Dujovne told the more than 1,000 attendees.This summit is important; it is a synthesis of the work done", he said. "Global problems require global solutions" and "their recommendations will be very important," he added in the Argentina room of the CCK.

Transformation of ideas 

The Argentine presidency of the G20 and the work of the T20 "are gaining more relevance" within the framework of the strategy to integrate the economy with the world, the minister said.

"El T20 transforms ideas into public policy recommendations"and thus, 'their work allows us to make better use of knowledge,'" he said. "We have worked together (with the T20)," said Dujovne, highlighting that "synergies were fostered."  

“I am very proud of the work with the T20,” said Dujovne.I thank you for your collaboration with the Finance Channel (of the G20),” he concluded.
