The Ministry of Agriculture extended until March 1 the requirement for the recipients of the Hilton Quota 2020/21 Regarding the requirement of compliance with 60% of the quota assigned as of February 1, through the Resolution 21 / 2021.
The regulations, published this Monday (08.02.20221) in the Official Gazette, explain that the decision responds to a a group of successful bidders that have stated that they are unable to fulfil their shipments as a result of the restrictions imposed by the European Union due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thus, the health emergency referred to is determined the need to establish exceptional measures in order to facilitate compliance with the rate quota known as the Hilton Quota.
The Hilton Quota is a quota of superior quality boneless beef cuts granted by the European Union to the Argentine Republic, in accordance with the biotype established by Article 2, paragraph a) of Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 593 dated June 21, 2013 of the Customs Union Commission.
