The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries distributed the extra quota for raw sugar exports to the United States for the 2020-2021 commercial cycle, which reaches a total of 3.783,7 tons, through the Resolution 143 / 2021.

For the period ending on September 30, the United States Government set a quota of 45.281 tons, which after deducting the polarization margin, represented 43.243,3 tons, already distributed last year by Agriculture, according to the regulations published this Wednesday (04.08.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.

The text explained that the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) formalized a reallocation of the import tariff quota of raw sugar for fiscal year 2021, and Argentina benefited from 3.962 extra tons, which once this margin is deducted totals 3.783,7 tons.

Thus The Commission ordered the allocation of 1.199,33 tons for Ledesma; 802,18 for the Concepción Sugar Complex; 451,17 for Prosal; 350,02 for José Minetti; 314,66 for the Industrial Investment Company; 223,02 for Arcor; 145,09 for the Río Grande Sugar Mill; and 98,94 for the Los Balcanes Sugar Company..

Quotas of 58,62 tons were also granted to Delotte; 46,39 to Salta Refrescos; 37,17 to Ferma Agrobusiness; 29,74 to Azucarera San Jerónimo; 10,78 to Siempre Verde; 8,53 to Argenbio and 8,07 tons to Carrizo, Arquímedes Ramón Teodoro.

The official text specified that the tonnage established for each mill should enter the North American market by September 30th.

The United States annually allocates Argentina an export quota for raw sugar with a polarization of no less than 96 degrees.
