The Ministry of Agriculture distributed among 20 companies 9.000 tons of peanuts, corresponding to the quota of 43.901 tons of export to the United States for the period 2022/2023, through the Resolution 78 / 2022 published today (07.04.2022) in the Official Gazette.
It is about the export of Confectionery peanuts, cracked, blanched, roasted and peanut paste, which Agriculture distributed at a rate of 450 tons per firm.
The distribution was assigned to Aceitera General Deheza, Arg De Graaf, Argen Peanuts, Bro, Arroyo Cabral Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative, Cotagro Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative, Gastaldi Hermanos, Golden Peanut and Tree Nuts, Cavigliasso Group, Ckoos Group, Insa Foreign Trade, JL, Lorenzati Ruetsch, Manisel, Manisur, Nutpro, Nutrin, Olega, Pro De Man and Agricultural Services.
There was also a case, that of Verk Food Trade, whose application was rejected because it registered on November 30, 2021, that is, 30 days after the end of the legal deadline.
In addition, the successful bidders Aceitera General Deheza and Niza were given treatment as economic groups and were authorized to export their share jointly or separately.
The resolution It also established that the balance of 34.901 remaining tons, will form part of the Free Availability Fund, which also includes the tonnes that the beneficiaries voluntarily give up, within the period determined by the competent authority.
To access the use of the Free Availability Fund, firms must have been awarded the initial distribution, have achieved 100% certified execution of their share assigned by the resolution, and not have waived the entirety of the initial share assigned.
The successful bidders may request up to a maximum of 450 tons per day from the aforementioned fund, until the quota granted by the United States is exhausted.
