The Secretariat of Agriculture of the Nation established the registration for the export of beef to the United States will open as of tomorrow, and for a period of 10 days, through the Resolution 233 / 2022.
This is determined by the regulations, published this Wednesday (21.12.2022/1/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, whose article XNUMX states that "the registration period for the tariff quota of Fresh, chilled or frozen boneless beef destined for the United States for the 2023 cycle will begin at midnight tomorrow and for a period of ten calendar days".
Interested parties must complete the corresponding form through the TAD procedure called “Application for access to an export license – Meat quota to the United States. Cycle 2023”, and complete the access requirements with the documentation that, in each case, is required, specified in Annexes I and II of the regulations.
In addition, the resolution authorized the Undersecretariat of Agricultural Markets to grant advances from the beginning of the commercial cycle until the final award act is issued only for those companies and joint projects that have passed the documentary control.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has granted Argentina an annual tariff quota of 20.000 tons of boneless, fresh, chilled or frozen meat, and the new quota period will begin on January 1, 2023.
