The Director General of Customs, Eduardo Mallea, met this Wednesday (13.06.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX) at the headquarters of the agency with representatives of the Chamber of Private Commercial Ports and the Cordoba Chamber of Foreign Trade (CaCEC).
"Mallea has reaffirmed his objective of meeting personally with the actors who have a strategic role in the international trade of our country," according to the Customs statement.
Representatives of the Chamber of Private Commercial Ports stated that “it was important to get to know each other in order to work together with a view to the future.”
The head of the Customs Office believes that ports are our main link with the world's economies. "Their perspective is extremely valuable to us," he said.
The meeting was also attended by Luis Zubizarreta, President of the Chamber of Private Commercial Ports; Fabián Fulloni, Secretary; advisor Osvaldo Fornari and Andrea Iungman, Assistant Manager.
During the day, Mallea also met with representatives of the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Córdoba (CaCEC) to learn about their concerns and the opportunities they identify. “Working together we will strengthen the relationship between Argentine companies and the world,” he said.
The hearing was attended by Miguel Zonnaras (President of CaCEC), Sergio Drucaroff (Executive Director) and Julieta Serena (from the Operating Commission of the Federation of Foreign Trade Chambers of the Argentine Republic (FeCaCERA).
These representatives said: "We are fully available to work on the development of the sector that links us." They also pointed out that in the next few days they will present to the Customs "a strategic agenda to address jointly."
Also present on behalf of Customs were Milagros Racana (Deputy Director General of Customs Operations of the Interior), Pablo D'Errico (Director of the Central Customs Region), and Gladys Morando (Director of Customs Operational Coordination and Evaluation).
