The project includes the construction of 22 rooms at the border crossing of Maroon, 17 in El Floridaoy 16 in Hot WaterThe modules have furnished kitchen, dining and rest room areas and will house more than 100 customs, immigration, agriculture, health, internal taxes and border police officials from Guatemala and Honduras. The equipment will improve personal and working conditions. The technical and administrative body of the Central American economic integration process clarified that the investment in the construction of modern housing modules is $3,859,665.1 Of which USD 1,301,057.18 were invested in the Corinto post, USD 1,360,733.79 in El Florido and USD 1,197,874.13 in Agua Caliente. The investment comes from the Structural Investment Fund of the Customs Union, administered by SIECA, which contributes to the sustainable development of the States Parties, in order to achieve the best use of the benefits of economic integration, he said.
