Brazilian Agriculture Minister Blairo Maggi is visiting Beijing and confirmed with China's Commerce Minister Zhong Shan that the Inspectors will be sent at the end of May 2018.

"The expectation is that the Asian country will open a good part of these meat packing plants for export."the ministry said in the release.

A ministry spokesman declined to name which plants were involved or specify what type of meat the establishments process.

Maggi also expressed hope that the two countries can resolve many of the issues involved in Brazil's 102 pending complaints against China at the World Trade Organization, according to the statement.
