The Minister of Finance, Nicolás Dujovne, highlighted the progress and agreements reached between the governments of Argentina and Brazil after the visit made on Tuesday (07.02.2017).
Dujovne said that Argentina and Brazil are moving forward "to "end double taxation on income tax for those who export services from Argentina to Brazil."
The official accompanied President Mauricio Macri yesterday on his state visit to Brazil, and participated in the intense work schedule that the Argentine delegation held with their Brazilian counterparts.
The head of the Treasury Palace took advantage of the visit to also talk with his counterpart, Henrique Meirelles, about a common work agenda between Argentina and Brazil.
“Economic integration with Brazil is key to strengthening Mercosur"And that is why it is essential to move forward together so that the bloc deepens its alliances with the world," explained Dujovne. "We want to continue working to strengthen trade relations between our countries," he added.
The Minister of Finance and Meirelles also outlined a common strategy on tax matters and the exchange of financial information. "We must deepen the exchange of tax information between both countries," he said.
