The Secretary of Agriculture, Juan José Bahillo, stressed that "these export opportunities for the national agri-food sector are the result of the commitment and constructive dialogue between Argentina and China, promoted by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, to expand the presence of Argentine food in the world."
In this way, the GACC (General Administration of Customs of China) has confirmed that the market is open for the export of thermo-processed pork offal and by-products from Argentina, so that authorized plants will be able to upload thermo-processed pork offal and by-products in their respective CIFER (Electronic Sanitary and Phytosanitary Certification) profiles, using a specific modification form.
Regarding wheat exports, after Senasa accepted the proposal presented by China, the GACC agreement remains to move forward with the signing procedure to formalize this opening, which represents an excellent opportunity for Argentina's agricultural sector.
