Art is not just displayed: it is also a commodity that circulates internationally.
From this perspective, the arteba 2025 fair will offer a stage to observe how Argentine art is projected in the world. From August 29th to 31st, with pre-openings on the 27th and 28th, the Costa Salguero Center will gather 67 galleries and over 400 artists from Argentina and abroad, consolidating itself as a meeting point between artistic creation and international trade.
With Santander as the main sponsor, arteba 2025 opens its new edition and reaffirms its position as one of the most important art fairs in Latin America.
Integrated art
According to the organizers, the galleries will present a selection of works diverse and integrated along a 11.000 m² route, combining the highlights of modern and contemporary art, organized into sections that reflect the richness of the art scene.
Eg Main Section brings together galleries of the City of Buenos Aires, consolidated and recognized for their trajectory, among them: Linse, Grasa Gallery, Komuna Gallery, OHNO Gallery, Casa Proyecto Gallery, La Mesa, Hipopoety, El Castillo and Pólvora.
It also includes galleries of the interior, such as LUOGO (Rafaela, Santa Fe), Satélite (Córdoba), Jamaica ATR Gallery (Rosario, Santa Fe) and Fulana (Tafí Viejo, Tucumán), while the international presence includes galleries of the Exterior, among them: Segismundo (Guatemala), Salón Comunal (Bogotá), Espacio218 (Santiago de Chile), Sorondo Projects (Barcelona, Spain), Public Relations (Mexico City) and Pionera (Pinamar / Madrid).

International Dialogue
To foster collaborations and exchanges between Argentina and the international scene, arteba 2025 incorporates the International Dialogue Zone, a space that strengthens ties between galleries, artists, collectors, and museums, promoting joint projects and participation in residency programs and global exhibitions.
The program includes other interesting sections, tours, talks and networking actions During the fair and its pre-opening, promoting training, dialogue, and critical thinking on art, the market, and the cultural challenges of the contemporary world.

Safe trade
Given this dynamic, it is recommended that the actors involved consider the regulatory updates and simplification of procedures in our country for the international circulation of works of art, as recently explained in his column by Argentine lawyer Eduardo Mallea, as compliance facilitates safe and efficient trade.
