The National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) has established new requirements and procedures for processing import authorizations for new or used parts, with the aim of streamlining and simplifying the process for purchasing aeronautical products in Argentina.
This is what the Resolution 235 / 2025, published in the Official Gazette this Friday (18.03.2025) This regulation also recalls that, since January 1, 1995, the MERCOSUR Customs Union was implemented, with the approval of the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) and the Common External Tariff (CET). In 2017, the NCM was updated in accordance with the VI Amendment to the Harmonized System, and additional modifications were incorporated in 2019. Furthermore, in 2021, the CMC Decision 12 approved changes in the taxation of aeronautical products in the NCM.
Based on this regulatory framework, Resolution 235/2025 incorporates changes detailed below:
- Se repeals Resolution 774/2019, which regulated the previous import authorization procedure for these products.
- A new document called "Import Notice for Aeronautical Sector Products", which must be submitted to the General Directorate of Customs (DGA) at the time of import.
- La processing will be online, through the Remote Procedures (TAD) platform, which reduces bureaucracy and facilitates access for importers.
- El import notice will be issued automatically within a maximum period of four business days.
To this end, interested parties must submit a sworn statement with the following: requirements:
- Full name or company name, CUIT and address.
- Detailed information about the parts to be imported (part number, description, new or used condition, manufacturer and country of origin).
Resolution 235/2025 will come into force on March 29, 2025, the day after its official publication.
