Within the framework of trade facilitation, the national Government launched this Tuesday (11.12.2018) the Web Portal of the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE).
The purpose of the initiative is to simplify, standardize, make transparent, streamline and make more efficient foreign trade processes.
Digital Commerce
“From their home, from their company, from their garage, exporters will be able to carry out all procedures digitally, with absolute transparency, leaving behind discretion and obscurity,” highlighted President Mauricio Macri at the seventh regional meeting of Argentina Exporta, held in Pilar, province of Buenos Aires.
Integration, streamlining and control
Argentina joins the 73 countries in the world that have the VUCE, such as Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, among others. In this way, "we are equal, covering the needs of the country's exporters, granting greater agility in operations that will allow for increased competitiveness, as well as improving the conditions for the country's insertion into the world," said the Secretary of Foreign Trade, Marisa Bircher.
The initiative also seeks to increase security, customs risk management, as well as accelerate the processes and controls carried out by both customs like other organizations involved in foreign trade operations.
The announced measure has a clear convergence with the Trade Facilitation Agreement signed by the country in January of this year. The launch of the VUCE implies that “Argentina is putting into practice its commitment to the multilateral agenda,” emphasized Marisa Bircher.
