Argentina Exports: Business opens with Southeast Asia

-

In a round of questions with journalists, after having participated in the Argentina Exporta 2019 Forum, Juan Carlos Valle, the Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam, said that “The best way for a company to overcome internal imbalances is to project itself abroad”. He further explained that “dIn this way, the internal or external fluctuations of a country are, in a certain way, compensated.".

The diplomat noted that the event “Argentina Exporta must be one of the most significant events held in our country to encourage exporters and to raise awareness that it is necessary to think that an internal market is important, as much as producing for export.".

“The fact that we have worked these two days at the forum, together with the Government's Export Plan, shows that this is a priority policy and we must continue to move forward”, concluded the Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam.

Key factor for export success

The event was attended by Biogenesis Bagó, an Argentine company that obtained a new license from the South Korean government to export 6 million doses of foot-and-mouth disease vaccine in the coming months. According to its Commercial Director, the key to success is in “the need to have a clear global diversification strategy, specialization in differentiated products, perseverance and proximity to the markets. Knowing the markets, having the information and the places where you are going to compete and being there choosing the right partners to develop the necessary commercial activities aligned with the business strategy.".

Biogenesis Bagó's export of anti-foot-and-mouth disease vaccine is currently growing in Asia, where cattle and pig farming is facing health problems. With the new shipments, the Argentine laboratory that made the commitment will reach a total of 100 million doses since 2016, according to an announcement made at the forum by the company's Commercial Director, Sebastián Perretta.

The emergence of new markets in the East (Vietnam, Korea, etc.) for Argentine products with added value opens the doors to our companies and predicts economic growth based on the export of national manufacturing.
