Integration of sectors

In this case, Chile has a great deal of experience, a track record and an integration between the sectors productive"That is why we met so that they could tell us about their experience and see how we can apply it in our country to continue to strengthen and consolidate our role, especially in the fruit and vegetable sector."

“In addition to advancing with systems of research and communication "that they allow us to have quarantine treatments to show the world together with Chile and that we can in this way achieve the opening of new markets as part of the national government policy and of which Senasa is a part" said the Argentine official.

“To achieve this goal, Senasa leads the process together with SAG of Chile, but also works in an integrated manner with other research organizations such as INTA and the Obispo Colombres Experimental Station,” he added.

Pest control

In this regard, Astete indicated that “both countries have an agro-export agriculture through which we can work together on many issues and be complementary in the work in a coordinated manner against those pests that cause us difficulties on both sides of the Andes Mountains, seeking to provide solutions to our producers both in the trade of their products and in the economic damage they may cause.”
