Argentina certifies the first shipment of lemons to be exported to the European Union

After months of negotiations with European plant protection authorities, Brussels has approved the changes introduced by the country to the certification system, which has allowed the market to reopen.

The European Union is the most important export market for our citrus fruits, with Argentina historically being the main supplier of lemons and the fourth supplier of oranges in that bloc.
