According to the latest CAC bilateral trade report, Argentine sales to MERCOSUR's main trading partner grew 21,2% year-on-year and marked the second consecutive month of increase.
Bilateral trade between Argentina and Brazil reached a total of US$2479 billion in April 2026. This represented a 3,4% drop compared to the same month last year, when trade totaled US$2567 billion. Furthermore, trade flows showed a 4,6% decrease compared to March of this year.
The data comes from the latest report prepared by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), which also indicated that the trade balance for Argentina was in deficit by US$123 million during the fourth month of the year.

The report also reflected growth in Brazilian foreign trade globally. Brazil's exports to the world increased 14,3% year-on-year in April, rising from US$29.886 billion to US$34.147 billion.
