VUCEA incorporates import procedures for fertilizers and amendments

The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) incorporated into the VUCEA system (Single Window for Argentine Foreign Trade) the "Import Notice" and the "Import Authorization" for fertilizers and amendments, as established by the General Resolution 5773/2025.

Simplified procedures

The measure, published this Tuesday (21.10.2025), allows The procedures are carried out digitally and centrally, speeding up the release of merchandise through the MALVINA Computer System (SIM). The declaration must be made when formalizing the import application, without the need to submit additional documentation. At the same time,SENASA maintains health control and product quality, ensuring that they meet national standards and those required by the destination countries.

It should be noted that the fertilizers and amendments These are products intended to improve soil nutrition and quality, including fertilizers, acidity regulators, conditioners, and other agricultural inputs. Their production, import, export, ownership, packaging, distribution, and sale are regulated by the Fertilizer Control Law and Amendments No. 20.466 of 1973, guaranteeing the quality and safety of these products throughout the country.

In this context, the recitals of the standard highlight that, thanks to the joint work of the Executive Unit of the National Regime VUCEA and the different ARCA areas, IT and information exchange mechanisms were developed to efficiently implement this measure. This incorporates the provisions of Decree No. 101/25, which regulates Law No. 20.466, supplemented by Resolution No. 214/25 (SENASA), ensuring efficient integration of all the procedures involved.

In summary, the resolution simplifies the imports and exports of these products, unifies the procedures of different agencies in a single system and will enter into force effective on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, i.e., ten working days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
