According to this decree, the rate is set at zero percent (0%), applying from today, September 23, until October 31, 2025, or until reaching the $7.000 million in registered Foreign Sales Declarations (DJVE), whichever occurs first.
To access the benefit, exporters must:
- Validate in the DJVE the declaration of settlement of at least 90% of the foreign currency within the required timeframe.
- Settle foreign currency between the entry into force of Decree 682/25 and up to three business days after the approval of the DJVE, through export collections, settlement advances or external pre/post-financing.
- Report the amount of foreign currency brought into the country or traded on the foreign exchange market, following the instructions of the Central Bank.
In the event of noncompliance, ARCA will notify you electronically and give you 48 hours to regularize the situation. You will be required to pay the difference in taxes if the foreign currency settlement is not justified.
