In line with international standards to secure and facilitate trade, the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) today (30.10.2025) formalized the creation of the Permanent Inter-Agency Committee (CPI) within the framework of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program, through the General Resolution 5780/2025.
The CPI will operate within the General Directorate of Customs It will be comprised of the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, “other national government agencies involved in international trade,” and private entities. Its members will serve on a pro bono basis.
According to the resolution, the CPI will have purpose "to promote procedures that reduce operating costs, facilitate foreign trade and integration with other countries.” It will also work on developing “clear and simple rules and instructions that ensure the smooth flow of foreign trade, safeguarding the principles of transparency, efficiency and equality,” with the aim of consolidating a more competitive environment for all operators in the logistics chain.
The AEO program, aligned with the SAFE Framework of the World Customs Organization (WCO), It has modern security standards in the international logistics chain with the aim of "ensuring and streamlining its operation", granting benefits to reliable operators who meet demanding security and traceability requirements.
With this measure immediate applicationARCA announces the approval of Regulation of the Operation of the Permanent Inter-Organic Committee, reaffirming its commitment to safe, agile and efficient foreign trade.
