The Ministry of Economy, through Resolution 203/2022 of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, established the operational guidelines within the framework of the Export Increase Program (PIE), which ends for oilseeds on the 31st of this month.
This is established by the regulations, published this Monday (22.05.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, whose text detailed three criteria to ensure that the goods included in the benefit correspond to operations covered by the PIE.
Thus, the primary and secondary liquidations of grains whose date of “operation fixation" is included between the entry into force of the PIE and May 31, are included in the Program, as long as the date of issue thereof is not later than June 2.
He also indicated that "the Affidavits of Foreign Sales (DJVE) subject to this Program may be registered until eleven (11) hours on June 2, 2023, and the respective fees must be paid up to forty-eight (48) hours after said date.”
Regarding the deadline, the portfolio clarified that such foreign exchange settlement may be arranged until three (15) p.m. on May 31, 2023.
New products
In turn, the regulations incorporated new products from regional economies in force within the PIE, for which the registration of Foreign Sales Declarations (DJVE) is required. The description is as follows:
It is recalled that PIE was created with the objective of both strengthening the reserves of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (Decree 576/2022) for which an exchange rate of $300 per dollar is implemented for exports of the oilseed (until May 31), and a set of products from regional economies (until the end of August).
