The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) carried out an employment inspection operation in 30 country houses and private neighborhoods in Greater Buenos Aires and 10 luxury buildings in Puerto Madero.
The aim was to monitor compliance with the home-based regime, according to official information, which details that a total of 1.051 workers were relieved.
These control tasks are added to the 650 thousand electronic inductions that the AFIP had previously sent to taxpayers who, based on various parameters analyzed, are presumed to be potential employers of domestic employees.
Dissemination of labour law and obligations
During the operation, officials from the General Directorate of Social Security Resources distributed graphic material to each of the workers we surveyed with information regarding their rights as employees and the obligations of those who employ them.
In addition, AFIP had the support of three Mobile Service Centers where personalized advice was provided and complaints were filed by workers who declared they were not registered.
