AFIP extends the deadline for submitting guarantees

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) extended the deadline for the presentation of guarantees by importers, exporters and customs service assistants, through the General Resolution 4773/2020 .

The measure, published this Wednesday (29.07.2020) in the Official Gazette, is established within the framework of the provisions of arts. 41, 58 and 94 of the Customs Code and their respective regulations by Decree 1001 of 1982. All this in which It refers to the requirements for registration in the records of importers, exporters and auxiliaries before the customs service and the respective solvency guarantees..

The recitals refer to, given the health emergency situation, extending the deadlines for the submission of said applications. guarantees with maturity on July 31 to be able to carry it out until October 31; thus, the resolution states: "Extend, until October 31, 2020, the validity of the solvency accredited by importers, exporters and auxiliaries of trade and customs service, expiring on July 31 of this year."

This Resolution shall enter into force immediately.
