The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) established that customs procedures at border crossings must be paid through electronic payment methods, through the General Resolution 4809/2020.

The regulations published this Thursday (03.09.2020) in the Official Gazette indicate that “The decision speeds up the operation for thousands of transporters who circulate through the country's border crossings outside of business hours."

The measure covers the payment of the reduced rate at border crossings, a procedure that is only paid during non-working hours and days, and that could only be paid in cash.
