The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) issued the General Resolution 5485/2024 through which he proceeded to delimit the Zabala Primary Customs Zone, under the jurisdiction of the division Neuquén Customs (Argentine Patagonia).
The regulations, published this Tuesday (27.02.2024) in the Official Gazette, mention the criteria and procedures that must be observed for the delimitation of the Primary Customs Zones in the Customs of the Interior of the country (General Resolution No. 355).
Likewise, the AFIP delimited the Primary Customs Control Zone of the Zapala Free Trade Zone, created by Provincial Law No. 2.083. This extra-customs territory is located in the Industrial Park of the City of Zapala on National Route No. 40, which will have an area of 253.481 m².
Neuquén has a single Free Trade Zone, located in that town. In this regard, its Economic Activities Promotion Regime is linked to the provision of services, industrial activity and foreign trade.
For this purpose, this General Resolution authorizes the Neuquén Customs to issue the provision that establishes the operating conditions of the Zapala Free Trade Zone.
It should be noted that Argentina is a country with thirteen authorized free zones, according to data from AFIP.
