The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) clarified that the Volunteer Firefighters of La Matanza, province of Buenos Aires, have a debt with the treasury for non-payment of contributions and contributions to social security, which is why the entity has already summoned them again for regularization.
Fire engines at Customs
In addition, the statement informs that Firefighters will be able to process the Certificate of Tax Advantages (CEVI) to benefit from 2 fire trucks that are in Customs.
The civil entity, which has 44 employees, has a debt with the treasury of just over 9 million pesos for not paying social security contributions. This debt prevents it from accessing the CEVI to import the fire trucks.
Current payment facilities
On the other hand, the Firefighters register 4 current payment facility plans to date, for a total of more than 23 million pesos to cancel previously contracted pension debts.
It should be noted that the CEVI can be requested as long as the taxpayer does not have any liquid debt due with the AFIP, among other requirements established by General Resolution 2440/2008 regarding imports.
The official text states: "As soon as the entity regularizes the debt, with full payment or the presentation of a payment facility plan, the fire trucks in question can be nationalized and disposed of.".
