AFIP implemented a new payment plan for debts due up to the 15th of this month and with a maximum rate of 2,5% per month for micro, small and medium-sized companies, self-employed individuals and freelancers.
Taxpayers will be able to participate in this initiative between September 2 and October 31 of this year. The first payment of the new plan will be made next December, according to the General Resolution 4557 which was published this Wednesday (21.08.2019) in the Official Gazette. For this broad universe of taxpayers, a maximum of up to 120 installments without any payment on account is contemplated and, in addition,, the suspension for 90 consecutive days of the imposition of precautionary measures. They may also freely dispose of the sums previously seized.
Until now, the plan for overdue debts had a limit of 60 installments and allowed for the inclusion of obligations payable up to last April. In this regard, it is worth noting that from September 17, debts included in the previous plan can be refinanced. The new plan allows for the regularization of tax and social security obligations.
Meanwhile, annual obligations (Earnings and Personal Property) can be financed through the Miniplan, which will reopen between September 2 and October 31.
Furthermore, the AFIP will categorize as SMEs those taxpayers who have not previously registered as such in order to include them among the beneficiaries of these measures, based on objective parameters similar to those of the Ministry of Production.
Monotributo Bonus
Furthermore, in general resolution 4556, It was decided to waive the payment of the tax component of the Monotributo fee for next month.
The benefit, provided for in Article 3 of Decree No. 561 of August 14, 2019, applies to small taxpayers enrolled in the Simplified Regime for Small Taxpayers who have complied with the monthly payment obligations corresponding to the periods January-August 2019 (up to August 21 inclusive), or have regularized those installments in the current payment facility plans.
