In the midst of a commercial tour to Southeast Asia and a promotional showroom for direct sales to wholesalers, the Mendoza government is seeking to expand the list of sellers to China, which already includes eleven Mendoza companies that enter this wholesale channel with their products.
According to the Economic area of the provincial government, reported this Tuesday (05.11.2019), "In 2018, Mendoza enabled the hub so that products can reach Shanghai and currently there are more than 20 SMEs and companies that use the platform., where there are 11 that have already agreed with Juerui Corp their presence in the Xibarita chain of stores."
Businessmen are trying to close deals so that wines, sweets, honey and olive oil have a sales channel in the Asian giant, starting with the presence in the G-Hub, a showroom with wholesalers from Shanghai.
From China, the provincial Minister of Economy, Martín Kerchner, stressed that "growing in a market requires work and perseverance." He added: "That is why we have been working for three years to ensure that Mendoza's presence at fairs and events is constant and that soon we will have commercial agreements with retail chains within China."
The official statement highlights the positive reception of Argentine products in that market.
"We are very pleased with the first products from Mendoza and we believe that there is a lot of room for growth in this market. Our store specializes in good quality products that are now in high demand by a growing number of local consumers," said Lin Jin, owner of Juerui Corp.
From the ProMendoza Foundation, present at the commercial tour, its head Mario Lázzaro said that "China requires presence not only in the hubs but also on the shelves And today we are moving forward in this stage so that sales continue to rise."
According to provincial sources, Juerui Corp is projecting strong growth and is working to open 50 more stores in 6 cities in 2020.
"The trend is very good and we are confident that it will give us very good results," Jin added.
