-

The National Tax Court has signed agreements with the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) And the National Bank which include the payment of professional fees, reported the autonomous body, specialized in tax and customs matters.

According to the statement, the first agreement establishes that the fee payments firms in charge of the AFIP, corresponding to professionals who represent taxpayers and customs users in cases filed with the Court, are made by electronic transfer to the Uniform Banking Code (CBU) that creditors report to the Court. This measure especially benefits professionals from the interior of the country, who will no longer have to go to the city of Buenos Aires to collect their fee checks.

In line with this measure, and in light of the extraordinary situation, the Court has agreed with Banco Nación a provisional electronic mechanism for communicating payment orders in replacement of the documents issued in paper format for those deposits of fees made prior to the agreement mentioned above.

The decision represents Another step towards the federalization of the Court and the digitalization of procedures that the institution has been carrying out, the most notable milestone of which has been the implementation of the electronic jurisdictional file in May 2019.
