The decision, published this Thursday (26.03.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, included in these services Control letters, with signature on template, control letter with return notice, express letter, letter with acknowledgment, confrontation letter, package, parcel, credit cards, door-to-door services, telegram and letter document.
The regulations specified that in the case of control letters, with signature on a template, control letters with return receipt, express letters and letters with acknowledgment, the distributor or mailman must record the full name and surname of the recipient on a form or on a mobile computer device.
For direct mail, packages, parcels, credit cards and door-to-door services, the distributor or mailman must verify the recipient's identity by showing an ID document from a safe distance before properly recording the recipient's details.
The recipient must be the recipient or a person over 18 years of age who is at the address, according to the text.
If it is a telegram or certified letter, in addition to the requirements for verifying identity and complete recording of data on a physical form or mobile computer device, it must include additional information, a description or image of the delivery location, a special delivery code, and another method that allows for the correct identification of the recipient.
The National Communications Authority decided that in properties subject to the horizontal property regime, such as buildings or country houses, delivery may be made to the person in charge of the building or responsible personnel who is at the entrance to them.
The measure, signed by the head of Enacom, Claudio Julio Ambrosini, comes into effect immediately.
