ENAPRO authorities received the MANDUBI ship

Within the framework of the Port and City Integration program, the President of ENAPRO, Lic. Ángel Elías, received the training ship of the Argentine National Prefecture, moored in La Fluvial.

El President of ENAPRO, Lic. Ángel Elías, accompanied by the Administrative Manager María Carolina Gangale, received this Friday (9.2.2018) the crew of 41 peoples where the presence of 24 female cadets from Zárate stands out on board the GC-43 MANDUBI, arrived in the city of Rosario on Thursday (8.2.2018).

The vessel is currently on a training trip with cadets who are in their second year of the Argentine Naval Prefecture Officers' School.

The 24 cadets are carrying out a navigation of  learning, a stage in which they put into practice all the knowledge acquired at the Argentine Naval Prefecture Training Institute.

The authorities and members of the press were welcomed by Subprefect Captain of the Coast Guard Waldir Nacke, who accompanied them on a tour of the vessel.

In this framework the President of ENAPRO He stressed, “From the administration of Puerto Rosario we are very focused on the relationship between the city and the port and we emphasize the role of the Prefecture in the security of our Paraná River. On the other hand, this ship expresses a time when Argentina had shipyards capable of developing this type of vessel that has been in operation since 1941. The state of conservation attributable to the Prefecture makes it a true jewel of our country's river heritage.”

The GC-43 MANDUBI will set sail again at 07:00 on February 10, bound for various ports along the river coast.

The boat can be visited this Friday 9th from 14:00 to 19:00 pm. Admission is open to the general public.
