Port of Buenos Aires extends free storage of cargo until May 14

The General Port Administration extended until May 14 the period of free storage of cargo for those operating in the terminals of the Port of Buenos Aires, through Providence (PV-2020-29184123-APN-GG#AGP).

This measure guarantees the continuity of Argentine foreign trade and the supply of necessary products and supplies, and reduces traffic within the port jurisdiction.

Therefore, the T1 Tariff (Handling within 5 days) will be applied to cargo that has been unloaded from March 17 and removed within the free storage period. On the other hand, the T20 Tariff will be applied to cargo that has entered the Port of Buenos Aires from March 7 for loading.

Likewise, through Provision 56/2020, the authorities of Puerto Buenos Aires resolved extend until May 10 the suspension of the course of the deadlines relating to summons, transfers, hearings or final notifications, whatever the means used, as well as legal or regulatory matters that are in progress in all the procedures of the General Port Administration.
