The Ministry of Agriculture has extended until April 17 the deadline for waiving, without penalty, the tariff quota known as the Hilton Quota for exports to the European Union of high-quality boneless beef cuts, as a result of the health emergency declared by the Government.
He did it through the Resolution 35 / 2020 published this Thursday (25.03.2020) in the Official Gazette, which extended the deadline originally established until February 17.
The standard indicates that all Companies awarded high-quality boneless chilled beef cuts assigned by the EU to Argentina for the period 2019/2020 must report, without fail until April 17 inclusive, the tonnage that they are unable to comply with..
This will be processed through the Remote Procedures Platform (TAD), by completing the form “Hilton Quota to the European Union – Total or partial waiver.”
The Ministry of Agriculture highlighted that the health emergency determined the need to establish exceptional measures in order to ensure and facilitate compliance with the tariff quota called the Hilton Quota
