The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) approved the incorporation of services of the National Port Authority (APN) linked to cabotage to the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE), according to official sources.
The MINCETUR statement released on Tuesday (17.10.2923) recalled that the VUCE is a trade facilitation tool developed and managed by that ministry that allows the various operators in the sector to digitally and centrally manage the information and documentation related to the procedures required by their activities.
By Ministerial Resolution No. 284-2023-MINCETUR, have joined it Two information requests on the Single Cabotage Declaration-DUC, a document issued by the shipper or consignee of cargo containing information about the cabotage cargo being shipped from the port terminal.
These procedures are the “Single Cabotage Declaration Registration" and the "Modification of the Single Cabotage Declaration Registry"In this way, the VUCE seeks to streamline the processing for the entry and exit of national cabotage, optimizing the times, records, indicators and control of cargo or merchandise in the various ports of the country.
To date, the Port Component of the VUCE has 21 procedures and services from five public entities: the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Production, the National Port Authority, the General Directorate of Captaincies and Coast Guard of Peru, and the Regional Health Directorate of Callao.
