Representatives of the customs of Paraguay and Brazil held a working meeting this Wednesday (19.02.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) at the Customs Administration of Pedro Juan Caballero (northwest of Asunción) to move towards a Greater security and facilitation of trade between the two countriessays the statement.
The meeting was attended by the coordinator of the Integrated Control Area (ACI), Osvaldo Arréllaga, for Paraguay, and the coordinator Marcial Cézar Marques Pinazo, for Brazil.
Amongst the topics analyzed The progress in infrastructure and logistics improvements in the Integrated Control Area, the update of the Operating Regulations, the status of implementation of the Information Exchange System between customs, the concerns of the different organizations and the space for meetings of sectors related to international trade were discussed.
On this occasion, the head of the National Administration of Navigation and Ports (ANNP) of Pedro Juan Caballero, Víctor Manuel Rivarola, gave details on the progress of the modifications in terms of infrastructure in the primary zone and issues related to the use of the International Cargo Manifest were analyzed.
