The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) appointed new Interim Heads in operational areas of the General Directorate of Customs, through Provision 365-E/2024.
The appointments are as follows:
- In the Customs Operations Department of the Buenos Aires Customs Directorate, Mr. Nahuel Rodrigo MARCHESE with a function appropriate to his category.
- Meanwhile, as Head of the Internal Department of the Customs Operations Department – Buenos Aires Customs Directorate, Lic. Micaela Denise EHRENFREUND.
- Within the scope of the Metropolitan Management and Supervision Department – Metropolitan Customs Operations Sub-directorate, Mr. Carlos Daniel HERRERA (according to category).
- For her part, Attorney María Lourdes PETRECOLA was appointed as Head of the Interior Department – Metropolitan Management and Supervision Department of the Metropolitan Customs Operations Subdirectorate.
- In addition, Mr. Ricardo Javier VALERGA will be First General Counsel of the Operational Control and Oversight Division 1 (Customs Operational Department).
- Finally, Mr. Lucas Sebastián GUTIÉRREZ was appointed as Head of the Interior Division in the Operational Control and Inspection Division 4 (Customs Operational Department).
In this way, there are six new appointments by AFIP within the scope of the General Directorate of Customs, in accordance with Decree No. 618/97, which grants it the power to organize and regulate the internal functioning of the Agency in its structural, functional and personnel administration aspects.
