This Monday (25.6.2018) the Customs staff joined the strike called by the General Confederation of Workers of Argentina
Customs
This was announced by release of the Single Union of Customs Personnel (Supara), in addition, as the workers are in a plan of struggle for wages, they will add other days of protest that will interrupt commercial exchange.
Workers will extend the national strike with presence in the workplace from Thursday 28 to Friday 29 June, without extraordinary services or overtime under their modality.
According to this schedule, customs officers will work only two days next week and announced that they will return with the strike on Thursday, June 5 and Friday, June 6, inclusive.
River transport
River passenger transport services Buquebus and Colonia Express, also suspended their trips to Uruguay.
Air and land transportation
Adds to the cancellation of flights announced by Aerolineas Argentinas, originated after the Argentine Confederation of Transport Workers (CATT) confirmed the total interruption of train, bus and subway services, in a workers' strike that seeks to demand that the Government leave overtime and double payments for holidays worked outside the income tax regime.
Ports
From 8 am on Monday there will be a Central assembly at the Port of Buenos Aires, where they will converge port, maritime and truckers, headed by the head of CATT, Juan Carlos Schmid, and the deputy secretary of the Truckers Union, Pablo Moyano.
