First ship with wind turbines arrives at the Port of Bahía Blanca

The first 93 blades and equipment from the “Corti” wind farm of the “Pampa Argentina” company, 21 kilometers from Bahía Blanca, and from the “La Castellana” park, managed by Central Puerto and located 25 kilometers from National Route 3 South, in the district of Villarino, have arrived.

The consignment of wind turbines comes from Spain and will be destined for the wind farms located in Bahía Blanca and Villarino.

"This is a confirmation of the operational capacity of the Port of Bahía Blanca", said Pablo Pussetto, head of the Port Management Consortium, to La Nueva Provincia.

The main difficulty was that the projected free sub-zone in Galván had not been authorized by the central authorities of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (Afip), an issue that was resolved with a provisional authorization.

The issue was resolved with the local commitment to carry out some complementary works within a month.
