The four political leaders will meet in Brazil on November 12 and 13 to attend the 11th BRICS Summit, a group of countries comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
For the occasion, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will receive Chinese President Xi Jinping on the morning of the 13th, while in the afternoon it will be the turn of the presidents of Russia, Vladimir Putin, South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, and the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
The main topic will be cooperation between the five countries in the bloc in the areas of science, technology and innovation.
The issue will be included in the Leaders' Declaration, which will be published at the end of the meeting.
This document will give these nations the opportunity to cooperate in the development of technological parks and incubators and the training of researchers.
The statement will also include the cooperation of the five BRICS members in the fight against corruption and terrorism, the exchange of best practices and the development of drugs for tuberculosis.
