Tax revenues grew by 42,7% in September compared to the same month last year, totaling 422.011,7 million, according to the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) on Tuesday (01.10.2019), when presenting the results.
Broken down by category, the AFIP reported that the IVA -the tax linked to domestic activity and consumption- contributed half, with $139.170 billion (increased by 34,4%), of which $90.671 billion came from the VAT (increased by 38,1%) and $51.349 billion from the customs VAT (up by 30,3%). In this concept, the information disclosed is from the previous month, that is, August, in which there was an interannual inflation of 54,5%.
For the tax of social Security $88.169 billion were collected and increased by 24,8%, affected by the lower creation of jobs and the loss of purchasing power.
For its part, the collection of the tax on earnings increased by 40,9%, and $83.699 billion was collected. The tax on debits and credits (better known as the check tax) showed an increase of 41,7% and generated revenues of $31.546 million.
In foreign trade, the export duties grew by 143,4%, a result strengthened by the rise in the exchange rate and by additional export duties.
The Import Duties, on the other hand, showed an increase of 65%.
