Tax collection reached $2019 million in June 454.442,1, with a year-on-year increase of 52,1 percent, reported the Federal Public Revenue Administration on Monday (1.7.2019).
In VAT, the increase was 38,3%; if the additional distribution of payment facilities in 2018, the net compensations made, and the two fewer business days of collection were not considered, the year-on-year variation would have been 46,4%. In particular, the Tax VAT grew by 43,4%, while the Customs VAT increased by 31,1%.
In the Income Tax, the increase was 51,5%; it should be remembered that last month was the due date for the payment of the balance of the sworn declaration of individuals, the tax on financial income and the sale of real estate for the fiscal period 2018, together with the first advance payment by companies with a December closing date for the 2019 fiscal year. It should be noted that, due to the 2017 tax reform, the corporate tax rate dropped from 35% to 30% this year, which resulted in a reduction in advance payment income of approximately $4.500 billion.
In the tax on debits and credits in current accounts, the increase was 35,5%, offset by one less business day of collection compared to the same month of the previous year and by compensations made in 2018, mainly from Income Tax. Without these factors, the increase would have been 47%.
In Social Security, revenue increased by 32%;In particular, the increase in contributions was 32,9% and that of contributions 32,3%; it should be remembered that due to the tax reform this month, approximately $3000 billion was lost in this area.
In foreign trade, export duties increased by 163,1%, while import duties increased by 55,5%.
In Personal Property, income grew by 78,6%, with the due date for payment of the sworn declaration of natural persons and for shares and corporate interests for the fiscal period 2018.
