AFIP extended the tax holiday until April 26

-

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) reported this Sunday (12.04.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) the extension of the tax holiday until April 26, inclusive, as long as the social, preventive and mandatory isolation ordered by the national government lasts.

In a statement, the AFIP said that "the suspension of the calculation of the current deadlines for taxpayers will be maintained, in the different administrative procedures such as official determinations, investigations, fines, discharges, closures, payment notices and inspection requests, among others."

The tax authority later pointed out that "The measure does not imply any modification or extension of tax due dates., to then clarify that "a tax holiday consists of the extension of all procedural deadlines in tax, customs and social security matters."

Finally, the AFIP stressed that "throughout the period defined in the regulations, the actions are not suspended and the agency may notify, issue administrative acts, impose fines and carry out operations, among other procedures."

"However, during the fiscal year, the calculation of the deadlines governing the response of taxpayers to these requirements is suspended," he said.
