The AFIP has ordered the use of electronic funds transfers to pay the fee for actions before the National Tax Court.
This is established by the General resolution 4534/2019 published in the Official Gazette this Monday (29.07.2019) whose text states that "the payment of the fee established by Law No. 25.964 and its amendment, applicable to the total amount in dispute in proceedings before the National Tax Court, must be made in accordance with the electronic funds transfer procedure, provided by General Resolution No. 1.778, its amendment and its supplements.”
Furthermore, the regulations clarify that "in order to cancel the aforementioned fee, the corresponding electronic payment slip (VEP) must be generated."
The person responsible must access the “Submission of DDJJ and Payments” service on the website of this Federal Administration (http://www.afip.gob.ar) and select in the “Collecting Agency” field, the option “AFIP – National Tax Court” and in the “Payment Type Groups” and “Payment Type” fields, the option “Rate on Proceedings before the TFN”.
The official text clarifies that the VEP in the “Paid” status will have the character of a sworn statement.
The measure, signed by the head of the AFIP, Leandro Germán Cuccioli, will come into force as of August 1th, 2019.
