The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) extends the tax holiday until June 28, inclusive.
The decision was formalized this Tuesday (09.06.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) through the General Resolution 4736/2020, published in the Official Gazette.
Indeed, the tax collection agency, during the period of mandatory social isolation, will maintain the suspension of the calculation of the deadlines in force for taxpayers in different administrative procedures.
The measure covers ex officio determinations, investigations, fines, discharges, closures, payment notices and inspection requirements, among others.
The decision does not imply any modification or extension of tax due dates..
A tax holiday consists of the extension of all procedural deadlines in tax, customs and social security matters. Following the general resolution, published in the Official Gazette, the actions of the Afip are not suspended.
However, during its validity, the calculation of the deadlines governing the response of taxpayers to the agency's requests is suspended.
